Shave View and privacy: what we're aiming for

Design goals

• The live view is meant only for the device you pair with your own iPhone.
• Nothing records unless you choose to record.
• You start it, you stop it; nothing turns on by itself.
• It should be obvious when the camera is live.
• Pairing by QR code, so only the screen you scan can show the view.

Still to be decided

• Exactly how video travels between phone and screen.
• What, if anything, is stored.
• How pairing is secured.

None of this will be described as a feature until it has been built and tested.
